
Paris, Tenn.–A Huntingdon man was killed this morning when a medical emergency caused him to crash his car on Hwy. 79S in Henry County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Jena Eubanks noted on the report that the fatality was due to a medical issue, not as a result of the crash. The accident occurred at 10:20 a.m. a few miles outside of Paris.
According to the report, Jimmy Hollingshead, age 80, of Huntingdon was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram north on Hwy. 79 when his vehicle drove off the right side of the embankment, striking several trees. According to the report, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
