Union City’s ever-changing basketball schedule is again being shuffled.

The Tornadoes’ District 13A doubleheader at Greenfield ‑- scheduled for Friday night ‑‑ has been postponed due to the Lady ‘Jackets squad being put in quarantine with COVID-19 concerns.

No official make-up date has been set for the two contests, though a date in the next 10 days is being discussed.

With an open date on Friday, the UC girls will now play at McKenzie in a 6 o’clock varsity-only contest. The Twister boys won’t play.

Tickets will be available at UCHS from 8 a.m. until noon Thursday and Friday. There will be no tickets sold at the door.

The Union City at Lake County 13A twinbill ‑‑ originally slated for tonight but moved to next Monday ‑‑ has been moved again, to this coming Saturday night.

Tip-off for the girls’ game is set for 6 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door for $6. Temperatures will be taken at the door and masks will be required for entry, according to Lake County Athletic Director Mike Moore.

In one other change, the Arlington at Union City girls’ game, scheduled for Dec. 21, will no longer be played.

The Tornado boys will play both junior varsity and varsity games that night at Gibson County, beginning at 6 p.m.
