Donna Craig Elected President Of Tennessee County Clerks Association

Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Clerk Donna Craig has been elected the President of Tennessee County Clerks Association for 2020-2021. Additionally, Donna will serve as the 1st Vice President of the County Officials Association of Tennesse.

Craig was elected to as County Clerk in 2010, after having worked there 10 years. She became a Certified Public Administrator and completed a Local Government Leadership program through the University of Tennessee in 2012. In addition to that, she served as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Tennessee Association of County Clerks in 2018.

Each year, county clerks from all 95 counties vote to elect their next President – someone who, they believe, will continue to move the organization forward. COAT Executive Director Rodney Archer said, “Donna demonstrates the qualities of a true leader through selfless service to others and a commitment to effective, convenient, and efficient government. She will be a tremendous asset to her association.”

The County Officials Association of Tennessee remains a prominent advocate, voice, and resource for elected officials from all counties across the state. COAT membership is comprised of State Court Clerks, County Clerks, Registers of Deeds, and County Trustees in Tennessee. The Association was founded in 1968 and continues to be a strong advocate for local government.
