
Camden, Tenn.–The portable ice skating rink that will be featured in the “Christmas on the Square” in Camden is starting to take shape.
The Benton Co. Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Christmas extravaganza, compete with ice skating, vendors, Santa and the elves and more. “Christmas on the Square” will open Saturday, December 12 and run through December 28.
Workers with Industrial Frigo Ice of Longwood, Florida, the company that installs the skating rink, arrived in Camden Monday and were assisted by the Benton Co. Sheriff’s Office and Camden Police Department.
Christmas On The Square will be held in Camden from December 12-28. $5 per person for ice skating. Monday through Friday, 5-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
The Christmas parade that had been scheduled for Saturday night has been cancelled.
