
Paris, Tenn.–A Paris couple are being held in the Henry County Jail on weapons and drug charges after a search warrant was executed at their home on Friday by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
Brian Kennon, age 45, is being held on $500,000 bond and Cindy Lawton, age 33 is being held on $150,000 bond. The search warrant was executed at their residence at 1725 Hwy. 77.
The sheriff’s office was investigating a report that a felon was in possession of firearms at that address. Agencies involved in executing the search warrant included the TBI, Metro Crime Unit, Puryear Police, Paris Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb unit.
According to the press release issued by the sheriff’s office, items found during the search included 22 modern firearms, rifles, shotguns, handguns, multiple boxes of ammunition and firearm parts; five homemade suppressors; several loaded AR15 magazines; one pound of marijuana, some 83 grams of meth, and $247 in cash.
Kennon was charged with possession of Schedule 2 and Schedule VI controlled substances, two counts unlawful possession of firearms, possession of prohibited weapons, and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Lawton was charged with possession of Schedule II and Schedule VI controlled substances, possession of firearms during commission of a felony.
