Davis Promoted To Commercial Bank President, COO; Flowers Promoted To Board Of Directors VP

Paris, Tenn.–Clint Davis has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Commercial Bank & Trust Company, while David Flowers has been promoted to Vice Chairman of the Commercial Bank and Trust Company Board of Directors.

David Flowers joined Commercial Bank and Trust Company in 1978. Flowers is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Flowers has most recently served the bank as a Director, President, CFO, and COO. He will be retiring from CBTC on December 31 and continue his service with the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman.

In addition to his service to CBTC, Flowers has served the Paris Board of Public Utilities, the Henry County Food Bank, Paris/Henry County Chamber of Commerce, the Paris Industrial Board, Tenn Ken Chapter of the Bank Administration Institute, and the Rotary Club for many years. He said, , “I am very fortunate to have served this wonderful community through Commercial Bank and Trust Company. I’m excited about the future of our CBTC team and looking forward to our continued success.”

 

Clint Davis, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance in 1995. Davis joined Commercial Bank and Trust Company in 1999 as the Mineral Wells Branch Manager and Loan Officer, then continued to serve the bank as Paris Loan Manager, Community President, and Director of HR and Marketing. Davis completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the TBA Southeastern School of Banking and will assume the role of President and Chief Operating Officer.

 

His community involvement includes Lakeway Kiwanis, Habitat for Humanity, First Baptist Church, Henry County Youth Baseball, CASA, and the City of Paris Parks and Recreation Board.
