Paris, Tn. – The 2020 Henry County Patriot football season came to a close on Friday night as the Big Red were defeated by the Summit Spartans by a final score of 35 to 21 in the Semifinals of the TSSAA State Football Play-offs. The Patriots finish the season with a record of 10 wins against 3 losses and the regular season Region 7 – 5A Championship.
Summit will move on to the 5-A State Championship game next Friday night in Cookeville to face former Henry County Head Coach and current Oak Ridge Head Coach Joe Gaddis. The Oak Ridge Wildcats defeated South Doyle by a score of 14 to o.
