Obion County Issues Mask Mandate Through December

Union City, Tenn.–Effective 12:01 am on Friday 20, 2020, all Obion County citizens,residents and visitors will be under a mask or face covering mandate.

Obion County Mayor Benny McGuire issued the order today and said, “The requirement comes as the number of active COVID-19 cases continues to rise. I encourage everyone to adhere to this mandate for the respect and protection of all Obion County citizens and visitors. This order remains in effect until December 31st 2020.”

As of 2:50 p.m. this afternoon, the number of active COVID cases in Obion County totals 288, with 29 deaths, according to the State Department of Health.
