Union City, Tenn.–Union City Elementary School students have truly been in the spirit of giving thanks.
Second-, Third- and Fourth-grade students at UCES recently penned thank-you notes to staff members at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City for their efforts and deeds during the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
BMH personnel will be presented with the notes during a drive-through ribbon-tying to be held today (November 17) from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the hospital.
The community is also encouraged to participate in the ceremonies and may drop off cards, gifts and other tokens of appreciation for staff. The event is being coordinated by the Obion County Chamber of Commerce and is designed to “share the love for our hometown heroes,” according to a spokesman.
