Ashland City, Tenn.–The TBI has announced the ‘incredible’ news that 9-year-old Jordan Gorman was found safe this afternoon. The boy has been at the center of an ongoing Amber Alert in Cheatham County. He had gone missing Sunday.
The boy was found in apparently good health, wearing a t-shirt and pants with no socks or shoes.
The boy had made a makeshift shelter in the woods with a piece of tarp and was found inside the shelter. The shelter was less than a mile from his home.
According to the TBI, “Jordan said he found that blue tarp and built himself the shelter where rescuers found him this afternoon.”
TBI officials said, “Thank you to those who joined us, in person and in spirit, in the search for the missing nine-year-old!”
