Big Sandy, Tenn.–A Big Sandy man was killed during a domestic dispute Sunday afternoon and investigation continues by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and TBI.
Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher said deputies were called to 143 New Hope Road at 1:43 p.m. Sunday and found that A.J. Grinnell, age 26, had been shot to death.
The TBI was called in to assist, he said, “and it appears to be the result of a domestic dispute.” Only family members were in the residence at the time of the incident, he said.
In addition to deputies, the Benton Co. ambulance service was called and a death investigator. Grinnell was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
