Suspect In Truck Theft, Vandalism Sought

Camden, Tenn.–The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate an individual that is wanted in connection with a burglary, vandalism and theft that occurred in the southwest part of Benton County on November 4th. The suspect has been identified as Harold Wilkey Jr. and he has connections to Henry, Benton, Perry, and Humphreys Counties.

Wilkey is a 51-year-old white male and his last known address is in Burns, Tenn.

According to the Benton County Sheriff’s press release, he was last seen driving a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado that is believed to be stolen from Perry County. The truck is a standard cab and has a busted windshield on the passenger side. The truck was originally red, but it appears that the suspect had been trying to paint the truck black. When it was last seen, the truck still had red paint on the roof and in the grill.

The homeowner has insurance through TN Farm Bureau. Subject to the conditions of their reward program, TN farm Bureau has indicated they are willing to pay up to $2,500 through their Property Protection Reqard Program for information leading to the arrest of Wilkey.
