
Paris and Union City, Tenn.–With only a few days left of the Early Voting period in Tennessee, turnout continues to be high in both Henry and Obion Counties.
In Henry County, the Election Commission is an especially busy place and with several contested races on the ballot, political signs line the drive to the Elections Office on Grove Blvd.
Statewide, record-breaking numbers of voters are voting early. The last day for early voting is Thursday, October 29. In Henry County, 8,201 voters have voted early, while the total is 7,194 in Obion County. Carroll County also is seeing a large number of early voters at 6,114.
As always, Early Voting is held at the Election Commissions in each county.
Early voting runs through October 29. In Henry County, times for Early Voting will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 14 and 29. Hours for October 15-28 and both Saturdays will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In Obion County, Early Voting hours will be from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
