Paris, Tenn.–Due to the threat of bad weather on Friday night, the Henry County High School football game against Northeast High School may be moved to Thursday, October 22nd. A final decision will be made and communicated on Tuesday.

Whether played on Thursday or Friday, the game will be played at Northeast High School and will be livestreamed and available to be viewed for a cost on NFHS Network. Northeast will be celebrating both Senior Night and Homecoming.

Ticket sales will be extremely limited and available only to cheer and football player parents. TSSAA and TACA passes will admit one person only.

“Tickets for away games earlier in the season ranged from about 200 to 350 tickets available per game. We have received only 142 tickets for sale for the game this week with no online sales. We feel it is important that parents have the opportunity to attend. Due to the extremely limited number of tickets available to us, tickets will be available to our cheerleaders and football players’ parents only. These tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday at 1:45 pm at a cost of $6 each,” according to HCHS Athletic Director Mike Poteete. Each senior cheerleader and senior football player will be given the opportunity to buy up to two parent tickets. Junior and sophomore cheerleaders and football players will be given the opportunity to purchase one parent ticket. Freshmen football players who are dressing for the game will be allowed to purchase one parent ticket.

Any tickets not sold by 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday will be sold based on a random drawing of cheerleaders and football players. The drawing will be held at 2:15 pm, and each athlete drawn will have the opportunity to purchase one additional ticket.
