Union City, Tenn.–Discovery Park of America is participating in the 23rd annual Earth Science Week, a worldwide collaborative event organized by the American Geoscience Institute. A special event will be held Saturday, October 17, with interactive programs and activities at the park.

Do you have an unusual rock you wish to identify? We encourage you to bring it to the rock, mineral, fossil and artifact ID table in Dinosaur Hall on Oct. 17 to be identified by UT Martin’s GeoClub and Dr. Angie Van Boening, professor of geology.
