elect-oct-14

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Election Commission was an especially busy place this morning as the first day of the state’s Early Voting period brought long lines of voters. In photo, Elections Administrator DeLaina Green and Deputy Administrator Kim Jenkins wait on a steady stream of voters. Long lines are being reported at other area Election Commissions today, as well. As always, Early Voting is held at the Election Commissions in each county. Early voting runs through October 29. In Henry County, times for Early Voting will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 14 and 29. Hours for October 15-28 and both Saturdays will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In Obion County, Early Voting hours will be from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
