Murray, Ky.–A Murray man was charged with trafficking narcotics after his arrest Sunday afternoon.
Robert Babb, age 44, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first degree; public intoxication; possession of a controlled substance first degree; trafficking in controlled substance third degree. He is lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
On Sunday at 3:02 PM, the Murray Police Department responded to the area of North 8th Street and Olive Street in reference to a suspicious individual. Officers made contact with Robert Babb at that location. While interacting with him, officers located a large amount of cash, methamphetamine, as well as multiple types of other controlled substances on Babb’s person.
