Three Arrested In Weakley County Burglary

Martin, Tenn.–Three people from Martin have been arrested in connection with a burglary of a residence Sunday.

William G. LaRue, age 40, Layla Elhulu Sullivan, age 32, and Nathan Brackett, age 42 have been charged by the Martin Police Department with Aggravated Burglary, Vandalism and Theft of Property. 

Investigation into this incident revealed the three subjects took numerous guns and other personal property from the residence located at 668 Mt. Pelia Road. 

Search warrants were executed at the residence of William LaRue by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department and at another residence in Obion County by the Drug Investigative Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Obion County Sheriff’s Department.

These warrants led to the recovery of several items of stolen property. The subjects are currently being held in the Weakley County Detention Center and this incident is still under investigation.
