Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Interim Sheriff Damon Lowe issues a new patrol unit to Deputy Jimmy Cole. The unit has been specially striped with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network’s mental health crisis line number (855-274-7471) along the side.
The crisis line is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to anyone who suffers from mental illness, anyone having thoughts of harming themselves or anyone who has information about someone who may be having thoughts of harm themselves.
Interim Sheriff Lowe said, “This is just another step to bring awareness and be proactive to assist and help anyone who may need it”
