Nashville, Tenn.–Metro Nashville Police have arrested the suspect in the shooting death of a former Paris woman earlier this week.
Michael Brigman, age 34, is being held on $1M bond. His booking photo has not been released, but Nashville Police released a surveillance photo of him yesterday and asked the public’s help in finding him.
Brigman was charged Thursday night with criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide for the fatal shooting at the Super 8 Motel on Brick Church Pike on Tuesday night.
Amanda Baucum, age 26, and her boyfriend, who is 35, were found shot when police arrived. Baucum is a 2012 graduate of Henry County High School. Baucum was pronounced dead at TriStar Skyline Medical Center and her boyfriend remains in stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Police said the shooting was the result of an argument with the suspect.
