Paris Quota Celebrates 60th Birthday

Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Quota Club met for its 60th birthday celebration at the Paris Academy for the Arts. The club was founded on August 27th, 1960 with 25 members and Martha Mitchell was the first president.

 

The 2020-2021 club officers were also installed at the meeting.  They are:  President – Elizabeth Craig; Vice- President – Jill Snow;  Secretary – Jane Sinnema; Treasurer – Mary Kathryn Moore and Directors – Kayla Nation, Cheryl Wilson and Leisa Wimberley.

Nation thanked the 2019-2020 officers for their service prior to installing the new officers.  She had a birthday cake with candles for each officer to light as they were installed.  They will take office October 1st, 2020.

Newly elected president, Craig, announced that the annual Hog Killin’ will be held at the October 28th noon meeting, rather than a night meeting, due to the mandate of social distancing.

 

The 2020 Quotarian of the Year will be crowned at the September 23rd meeting and members will also have the annual fall auction at this meeting.
