Paris, Tenn.–The city of Paris’ new Building & Codes Inspector Lowell Schrader was welcomed on board at Thursday night’s city commission meeting.
Schrader comes to his new job after a lengthy career in the Navy in which he earned a degree in environmental science.
He replaces Mike Brown, who had announced his intention to resign earlier.
Schrader moved to Paris some four years ago and has worked at JMC Firearms.
City Manager Kim Foster said Schrader “has really jumped in with both feet. He has amazed me at the things he has already tackled. We’re really excited to have Lowell on board. His plate is already full!”
Schrader said, “It’s great to be here. I look forward working with you all.”
Also working in the city’s building and codes office is Rebecca Renkel, Codes Enforcement Officer.
