Paris, Tenn.–Newly-elected 24th District Chancellor Vicki Hoover was sworn in this morning on the Henry County Courthouse steps by Judge John Everett Williams of Huntingdon. Standing with Hoover at the swearing-in were her husband, Mike Ainley and daughter Angela Hoover. The 24th Chancery Court represents Henry, Carroll, Benton, Decatur and Hardin Counties. A public swearing-in ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. September 11 at the Henry County Fairgrounds. (David Jackson photo).
