Union City, Tenn.–The 62nd annual Obion County Fair begins this evening, with the grand opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. on the Back Porch stage. At the opening ceremonies, two individuals are expected to be inducted into the Fair’s Hall of Fame.
The Fair runs from August 21-29 and includes Midway attractions, nightly shows, live music, nightly drawings, a demolition derby, Monster Truck Shows and more. A highlight of the fair will be the pro wrestling evening Tuesday starring Jerry “The King” Lawler.
The carnival rides open at 5 p.m. tonight on the Midway.
Admission to the fair is $12, which includes all rides on the midway.
The fair office at 1711 E. Church Street is now open from 9-4 Monday – Friday. Please use the front entrance on Church Street to enter. They will be here on the weekends and will post those dates as needed.
