Paris Man Held On $150,000 Bond After Search Warrant Executed

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man is being held on $150,000 bond after his arrest on drug charges at a local motel.

Reginald “Duck” Wiseman, age 48, of 1297 E. Wood St., was arrested at Paris Inn and Suites at the same address Monday night as members of the Metro Crime Unit, Paris Police, Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office, and Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in his room.

According to Investigator Jeramye Whitaker, Wiseman did have approximately ½ ounce of methamphetamine on his person. During a search of the room officers located one bag containing approximately 52 grams of Methamphetamine in a dresser drawer and two more bags of methamphetamine in a lock box.

The total field weight of the methamphetamine was 179 grams / 6.1 ounces. A set of digital scales and pipes were also found in the room. He did claim ownership of the items. Wiseman was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant, possession of a schedule II drug with intent to sell / deliver and drug paraphernalia.
