HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn.— The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded to a call about a boating accident on Saturday, August 15, 2020, around 3:00 p.m. The accident occurred on Pickwick Lake in Dry Creek cove. TWRA officers responded to a collision involving two personal watercrafts (PWC’s) with three people involved in the accident. David Carter, a 40-year-old male, and operator of one of the PWC’s was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Carter’s six-year-old daughter was airlifted to LeBonheur in Memphis, where she later died. The operator of the other PWC was not injured. TWRA is currently investigating the accident.
