Dyersburg, Tenn.–Dyersburg’s oldest citizen Lillie Claybrooks has passed away at the age of 104.
Dyersburg city officials said, “Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Ms. Claybrooks which includes Dyersburg Police Officer Vella Denny. Please keep Officer Denny and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
Ms. Lillie Claybrooks age 104 passed away at Alamo Nursing Home. Arrangements are in the charge of McCreight Funeral Home. A walk through visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 11 a.m.-11:55 a.m. at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN.
Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon with the Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial will be held in Williams Chapel Cemetery in Friendship. DUE TO COVID-19 FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO FAMILY MEMBERS ONLY. YOU MUST WEAR YOUR MASK.
