Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man wanted for criminal attempt at second degree murder was captured by Henry County Sheriff’s deputies Monday afternoon.
Gary Dennis Odom Jr., age 51, 705 Nelson School Road, is being held in the Henry County Jail, charged with criminal attempt at second degree murder, domestic assault and manufacturing marijuana.
Deputies were called to his address Sunday on a report of shots fired and domestic dispute. Deputies determined a female victim had been assaulted and that Odom had fired shots at her. According to the press release, she was not injured.
Odom fled on foot before deputies arrived. At the scene, deputies also found marijuana plants.
