2020 Chamber Water Fun Run: Like “Christmas In July”

fun-run-2020

Paris, Tenn.–With the weather forecast showing 94 degrees and sunny with only a 20% chance of rain, the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Water Fun Run on Kentucky Lake looks to host boaters from across the region this Saturday, July 18th. The theme this year is “Christmas In July”.

“This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our Chamber,” according to Chamber CEO Travis McLeese. “Not only is it a fun day on the water that showcases our marinas, we anticipate over 70% of the participants to be out of county, which will lead to a substantial economic impact for our county.”

Participants have the potential to receive 12 cards by visiting the 8 participating marinas, going to Trolinger’s BBQ, finding the Party Boat, stopping at the Hawley and McCadams Party Dock, and buying the 12th card for an additional $10.  The 8 participating marinas are Buchanan Resort, The Breakers, Cypress Springs, Leatherwood, Fat Daddy’s Brownfield Riverside Resort, Sunset Bay Marina, and Paris Landing State Park Marina.

Marinas will open at 9  AM, with check ins at 3 , 4 , and 5  PM at Paris Landing.  There will be a $500 cash prize for the best 5 card poker hand at each check in.  It only costs $25 to participate and packets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Trolinger’s BBQ or at the participating marinas.

For more information call the Chamber of Commerce at (731) 642-3431.
