Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man who was indicted Monday by the Henry County Grand Jury was arrested on charges of rape of a child under the age of 13 and sexual battery.
Jeffrey Montrel Wilson, age 30, of 3710 Hwy. 77, Paris, was arrested by Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Joe Frye. Henry County Sheriff’s Investigator Gary Vandiver said Wilson is on the sex offender registry and was tracked through his ankle bracelet.
Wilson’s indictment was one of two secret indictments issued Monday by the grand jury.
He is in the Henry County Jail, being held on $50,000 bond.
