Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Extension Service Director Michele Atkins has been named the new Paris-Henry County Chamber President.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber did not hold its annual banquet this year, which is when the announcement of the new President is made, along with the presentation of the green jacket.
The announcement was made this year at a modest ceremony at which long-time board members also were honored.
Atkins was named Person Of The Year in 2018.
Also honored were Scott Morrison, a past-president; Kathy Ray, board member; and Tori Daughrity, executive board member.
Five new Board Members were also welcomed: Scarlet Orr, Ashli Newcomb, Kelly Gardner, Neely Ashby, and Kimberly Martin.
