Paris, Tenn.–Add the 2021 Wings of Winter Birding Festival to the list of events that will be cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns.
The Festival has drawn hundreds to the local area with events held at several different venues at Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
Organizers said it is their hope that the festival can return to The Lodge at Paris Landing if it is complete by January 2022. The theme for Wings of Winter 2022 is “The BIG year” with keynote speaker Greg Miller. His character was played by Jack Black in the movie “The Big Year”, a story about his big year of birding in 1998.
