Camden, Tenn.–Hear Ye, Hear Ye – Come one, come all!
The Descendents of American Revolution Patriots, along with partnerships with the Sons of The American Revolution (SAR) and Veteran Organization Groups, will re-enact a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Benton County Courthouse on Saturday morning, July 4.
They will be dressed in period attire. Veterans are encouraged to wear your military decorations, uniforms, insignia and other accoutrements. Introduction and welcome to begin at 1130 AM.
There will be a “History of The Flag’s” presentation and then the reading will begin at 12 noon. Camden High School Band (& Boosters) will provide music and refreshments.
