Martin, Tenn.–A Sharon man who robbed a family watching the sunset Sunday evening was arrested by Weakley County Sheriff’s deputies.
Louis Stephen Rechis, age 20, was charged with aggravated robbery.
Weakley County Sheriff’s Captain Randall McGowan said three family members were parked on a road south of Martin watching the sun set when they were blocked in by a white SUV.
The driver of the SUV approached the family, produced a weapon and robbed them of $60.
Based on information from the victims, deputies arrested Rechis on Monday. The vehicle used in the crime and the firearm was seized. The money was not recovered.
