Louisville, Kentucky–This week Kentucky State Fair officials got the exciting news that the show will go on for the 2020 Kentucky State Fair. It will most certainly look different, but the best 11-days of summer will be back August 20-30. COVID-19 precautions and guidelines will be in place.
Last week, Tennessee State Fair officials announced their fair would be cancelled this year.
Kentucky State Fair officials said, “If there’s one thing we know about Kentuckians, it’s that they’re creative, adaptable and wonderful people. That’s what the Kentucky State Fair is all about – celebrating #TeamKentucky and bringing our community together. Our contests will be pared down (Please keep working on your projects! We want to see them next year!) and the overall spirit of the Fair lives on through agriculture, family, music, food and fun.”
Whether it’s cheering for the talented 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitor or eating too much deep-fried food, the Kentucky State Fair will have plenty for you and your family to enjoy.
