Paris and Union City, Tenn.–Commercial Bank & Trust has announced its lobbies have resumed regular operation.
The banks are now equipped with Plexiglass dividers between the tellers and the public and stands with hand sanitizer by the counters.
The bank lobbies had been shut to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, although drive-through services were still available.
Bank officials thanked its employees who have been working through the past few months. “As we transition back to our regular access, we want to thank our Commercial Bank and Trust employees who continue to work through these challenging times to meet the expectations and commitments to those we serve”, they said.
In a press release, officials said, “We are pleased to announce that Commercial Bank and Trust Company lobbies and offices (except our Memphis-Raymond James location) have resumed regular operations. We look forward to seeing you soon.
“At Commercial Bank and Trust Company, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our customers, employees, and communities. We understand the ongoing concern surrounding COVID-19” and will continue to monitor the situation.
“Commercial Bank and Trust branches have returned to regular lobby access except for our Raymond James branch, which will remain temporarily closed. Based on the widely accepted, best-practice measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, our branches will continue to follow the recommendations of local officials for preventive measures at each branch location to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.”
Bank officials said they welcome everyone back to the bank offices, “however, if you can’t make it in, don’t forget you always have access to your accounts online with NetTeller and the mobile app.”
