
Mayfield, Ky.–A Sedalia woman was transported to Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital after her vehicle landed on its top after she lost consciousness driving on her property in Graves Co.
At 7:22 p.m. Wednesday night, Graves Co. Deputy Brendan Weldon responded to a single vehicle rollover collision with the operator still trapped in the vehicle on Belleville Road in the Bell City area.
Deputy Weldon located 61 year old Benita Jordan of the Sedalia area trapped in a Honda CR-V that was overturned. Jordan was conscious and was removed from the vehicle by the Cuba and Sedalia Fire Department without the use of mechanical means.
It was determined that Jordan had loss consciousness while operating the vehicle resulting in her driving through her property impacting a tree and overturning the vehicle. Jordan was transported to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for further treatment of possible injuries.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Mayfield Fire Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, the Cuba Fire Department, and the Sedalia Fire Department.
