Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Fair Association announced this morning it is continuing to plan and prepare for the 2020 Fair, which currently is scheduled for August 22-29.
Association officials said, “We will continue to heed recommendations from the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health, the Tennessee Association of Fairs, and various government officials and community members. Many fairs in the West Tennessee area also plan to hold their fairs this fall.”
The health and safety of attendees, volunteers and vendors is of high concern, they said. “You can expect some new changes this year to policies and procedures, which will be made in the best interest of all involved.”
Officials said, “We are confident that the 2020 Fair will be a fun, exciting event for families and friends. We will do our best to address any concerns with the information we currently have, but please recognize this is a fluid situation that is subject to change at any time for various reasons.”
The 2020 Fair t-shirts will be available soon.
The Benton Fair Board announced last week that its fair will still be on.
