McKenzie Farmers Market To Open June 13

McKenzie, Tenn.–The McKenzie Farmers Market will be opening  Saturday, June 13th, and because of popular demand they are expanding market hours to Saturdays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Tuesdays from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Booth fees for vendors are $5 per day or $20 for the year. Vendors with the $20 season fee are able to set-up when the market is open and outside when the Farmers Market is closed.Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

McKenzie has the only indoor/outdoor farmers market in the area, and they have a wide variety of vendors providing our customers with the very best home grown produce, meats, baked good, jams and jellies, home-made items and more.

It is located in downtown McKenzie on Cedar Street (across from McKenzie Police and Fire Departments).

They are committed to providing a safe environment for our customers and vendors and are following the CDC and Governor Lee’s guidelines for Farmers Markets, and we are asking everyone to please observe the following in order to keep our community safe:


Do Not Enter if Unwell
Maintain at Least 6′ Social Distancing from all Vendors &
Customers
Wear a Face Covering
Wash Hands/Sanitize Hands
Strictly Supervise Children & Limit Shoppers Per
Household
No Gatherings
Shop Quickly
Only touch Food You Plan to Buy or Ask the Vendor to
Pick It Out For You
Wash all Produce Before Consumption

Mask will not be mandatory – but they encourage wearing them if you are unable to social distance . There will be a one-time offer of free masks, we will also have a hand sanitizing station. They will be suspending food samples and demonstrations this season as well.

Handicapped customer parking only is allowed in the adjacent parking lot. Vendors may load and unload before and after hours.
