Paris, Tenn.–The Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office has blocked off Hwy. 79 N near Lakewood School as an active shooter and possible hostage situation is ongoing this morning.
Sheriff Monte Belew said, “The situation is fluid” and asked people to stay away from the area near Indoor Heating and Comfort.
Earlier, the sheriff’s office had said they were looking for a suspect who is 6’2″, 245-250 lbs, wearing a yellow shirt and blue jeans and looking for a gold 2014 Ford F-150.
