Dover, Tenn.–A Fort Campbell soldier was arrested on drug and weapon charges after 15 pounds of marijuana and 500 Xanas pills were found in his vehicle in Stewart County.
Kalvin D. Taylor was arrested after his car was stopped by Deputy Trent Herndon and Sgt. Robbie MacDonald. The driver refused consent to search and Sgt. MacDonald deployed K-9 Harry, who alerted on drugs in the vehicle.
According to the press release, Taylor then admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle lead to the seizure of approximately 15lbs. of marijuana, 500 Xanax bars (pills) and a weapon.
Taylor’s arrest lead to the issuance of search warrants in other jurisdictions.
