Martin, Tenn.–A Wednesday morning rollover crash in Martin was caused after the driver said she blacked out.
According to the police report, Pattie Leann Warden, age 47, of Martin, said she blacked out and when she came to, her vehicle was leaving the roadway and heading for a light pole. The accident occurred on Mt. Pelia Road near Ivie Lane. She was not injured and was wearing her seat belt.
The driver was able to crawl out from under her Ford Fusion, which overturned in the field. She said she may have blacked out due to new medication. According to the report, a phone box and road sign were damaged.
