Union City, Tenn.–Union City Police arrested two men for DUI in two separate incidents Friday.
According to the press release, Chris Fair was charged with DUI after he was observed colliding into several vehicles in the area of north First St. and West Vine.
Witnesses flagged down officers Hall and Hale about the incident. Officer Hall located the vehicle driven by Fair in the area of South First and Florida after a witness followed the vehicle to the location. Fair was found to be intoxicated and combative at the scene. He was arrested and charged with DUI 2nd offense, driving on a revoked license and resisting arrest.
In the second incident, Officer Tyler Verner observed a vehicle driven by Jose Alaniz crossing the fog line and driving erratically in the area of East Reelfoot and South Home St. Officer Verner was able to get Alaniz stopped in the 900 blk of South Home. Alaniz was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.
