According to the State Department of Health’s daily update on the COVID-19 cases in Tennessee, Weakley County is now listed as having one confirmed case.
However, the Weakley County EMA posted on its Facebook page that it may be a clerical error.
“You might have seen the updated list showing a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Weakley County. While we fully expect that it won’t be long until that happens, this particular incident was a clerical oversight and will be corrected by tomorrow,” EMA officials said.
The state’s case count as of today (March 23) stands officially at 615 (including two deaths).
