Clinton, Ky.–The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed a section of KY 2569 in Hickman County effective immediately.
KY 2569 is closed between mile point 0.0 and mile point 0.75 due to a shoulder washout caused by recent flash flooding.
This closure is along KY 2569 between the Hickman-Fulton County Line where connects to Holland Lane and the Purchase Parkway Overpass.
Approximately 85 vehicles travel this section of KY 2569 and Holland Road in an average day.
This closure will likely be in place for several weeks to allow time for an extensive engineering analysis of the damaged area to help develop a detailed repair plan.
KYTC engineers will attempt to provide timely updates as a repair project is developed.
