Paris, Tenn.–The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Henry County will be closed until March 31st due to the concern of coronavirus and they announced yesterday that the annual Cast-N-Blast scheduled in April has been postponed to June.
Center Director Carly Wheat said, “We have been closely following guidance from the CDC, state, and local Health offices. We have decided that be best course of action would be to limit the spread of the virus and its uncertainty by having all staff work from their homes until the end of March. Our 24 hour emergency assistance will be available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Meanwhile, the Cast-N-Blast scheduled for April 18th has been postponed to June 6th.
Wheat said, “We hate to reschedule such a great event in Henry County and miss out on the turkey hunters this year but, from monitoring the news and following guidelines set by the CDC, our Center, tournament director, and volunteers for the event feel that this is the best way to protect everyone’s health.”
If paid entry into the Bass tournament, your entry will be honored for the June 6th tournament.
