Murray, Ky.–The Calloway County Health Department this morning confirmed that a county resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a post on its Facebook page, the health department reported that the patient is a resident of Calloway Co. and they are working to identify and contact all those who may have been exposed to the patient.
Director of Nursing Kim Paschall said the health department believes “the risk to the public is low and as the situation evolves,” the department will continue to be in direct contact with the CDC and the Kentucky Department of Health.
This case is separate from that of the visitor to a Murray church on Sunday who tested positive for COVID-19.
