Paris, Tenn.–Out of an abundance of caution and as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and community, Henry County Schools Director Dr. Leah Watkins announced Saturday evening that the school system will be closed from Monday, March 16 though 20, and the following week which already was set as Spring Break.
Dr. Watkins said, “This decision was made in collaboration with local health officials, EMA, and the TN Department of Health. Students have been prepared with learning activities to assist with continuity over the extended closure.”
