Paris, Tenn.–People in Paris and Henry County will not have to go far to get their Dunkin’ Donuts fix. Dunkin’ Donuts is opening in Paris and the owner said it should be open by summer.

Work already has begun at the site on Mineral Wells Ave.–at the former location of Paris Donuts and Long John Silver’s.

Keith Deerkoski of Nashville owns the company “Sweet Liberty” which owns several Dunkin’ Donuts franchises. “The one in Paris will be our 14th one, in fact”, he said. The company owns stores in Dickson, Springfield, Light House and other Tennessee locations.

Deerkoski told RadioNWTN Friday, “We’re excited to come to Paris. I’ve seen the renderings of what it will look like and I think people there will really like it. The new stores are Next Generation and different designs and they’re super cool and fun for customers.”

He said, “We hope people there are excited about it, like we are. It will be more like a community coffee shop–that’s the atmosphere we’re wanting.”

The property on Mineral Wells has been vacant for several years and the city has tried to find developers for the property. Deerkoski said, “We’ve been working on this for quite awhile. We’ve been wanting to locate in Paris.”
