
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Grand Jury issued indictments against 35 people, including a Paris man who was on the Tennessee Most Wanted List last year.
Meeting in all day session, the grand jury indicted Rodney Wilson, age 25, of Chickasaw Road, for attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Wilson was arrested for firing gunshots into a car in October of 2019 on Chickasaw Road. He was sought by both Paris Police and the TBI and was placed on the state’s Most Wanted List. He and a companion were taken into custody in Corinth, Miss.
In other indictments:
–Jabari Patton, age 19, N. Porter St., two counts rape.
–Three people were indicted on child abuse charges–Mark Davis, age 37, of Grove St., Paris, charged with aggravated child neglect; Rebecca Shadix, age 45, Manleyville Road, charged with two counts of aggravated child neglect; and Cameron Dick, age 26 of Murray, aggravated child abuse.
–Several people were charged with assault, including Lawrence Crosser, age 57, Powell St., Paris, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, driving with expired plates, speeding, violation of registration law, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear, driving with revoked license, no insurance.
–Benji Hester, age 39, Henry, vandalism, setting fire to personal property.
As always, the bulk of the indictments issued were for DUI/drugs and theft charges.
